Crysis 2 will soon be landing on the market, and to celebrate its impending arrival, comic book publisher IDW announced that there will be a mini-series comic based on the famed game franchise.

The Crysis-based comic will have six issues, which will run monthly beginning the month of June. According to IDW, it will be featuring the events that transpired in both Crysis 1 and 2, which should be able to effectively bridge both games. If you're keen to find out what exactly happened after that incident on the Pacific Island, this should be the closest you can get to finding an answer.

Penning the comic mini-series is no other than Richard Morgan himself, Crysis 2 writer. Illustration falls on the hands of Peter Bergting. By the time the Crysis comic book comes out, you should have finished Crysis 2 by then. This, therefore, is a good time to look back on the events that's passed in the Crysis universe.

They want to keep the franchise in your stream of consciousness, and this should be a good way to do it.

The Crysis Comic will have 6 issues, with 2 already writen, as one issues comes every month, starting this June.
