I turned on my PS3, earlier today, and noticed something strange that wasn't there, before. There were two windows media player files in each of three different categories of my PS3's XMB (all six files seem identical). When I click on them, all I get is a message worded in a way which I assume means "isn't compatible with PS3s". They are labeled as "faye-pc", which is the name displayed on my mom's laptop (her name + pc) and in their information is my IP address. My first thought was that they were viruses, but from what I understand, PS3s run on an operating system that isn't easy to make viruses compatible with... yet I don't know how the files could have got on there, otherwise. I asked around the house and nobody living in it has a clue what it's about. There is a babysitter, but I highly doubt he had anything to do with it and I'm worried. I didn't connect a PC or any USB storage devices to my PS3 at any time and I have no clue if the files are what they say they are nor do I have a clue how they got on my PS3. I can't delete them, as the option to do so doesn't seem to be available. Any ideas?
