Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 4:59 am

So i noticed while watching the E3 presentation, that a male-PC was wearing a dress. Does this mean clothing in now Non-Gender Specific?

Yeah, he pulled it off rather well.

Actually, I think most of the clothing will be unisix as normal for Fallout. So if you pick up something like combat armor, it will look like combat armor when you put it on, but if you pick up something named "sequined red cocktail dress" you should not be surprised if you are a male and find yourself wearing a sequined red cocktail dress.

Well the armor system is layered, so I wouldn't be suprised if the armor itself is unisix, but with the expection of the vault suit, I expect of the vault suit I don't expect alot of clothing to be that way.

Since the armor system is layer centered... does that mean my character could wear an armored dress?

Well armor layers are head, shoulders, chest, and feet now IIRC, so it could be possible.

I looked back at the footage, it seems that left arm, right arm, chest, left leg, right leg... all can be different pieces of armor.

I didn't see the left leg, right leg or foot option, they all appear to be part of the chest piece to me, (note: im assuming power armor has diffrent rules).

I'm assuming leg pieces are tied to feet as well... but if you look when todd brings up the pipboy, and goes to the apparel screen, they are separate pieces.
