Non-human children in skyrim

Post » Sat Aug 10, 2013 11:07 pm

I've always found it kind of odd that there are no Argonian, Khajiit, Elven or Orcish children around skyrim. Considering that theres a large population of dunmer living in Windhelm, and the fact that there are orc strongholds everywhere around the land, you'd expect to at least have some dunmer and orcish children in the province somewhere. But, Bethesda chose to ignore this aspect and instead only bothered to make children for the human races.

So what do you guys think about this?

I agree, it was a huge disappointment. Not only are there no non-humanoid children, but the children that are there all look the same. I was kind of hoping for a slightly taller kid for a Nord or something, maybe a fairer skinned child. Idk, just some more than what they gave us

Yeah it was disappointing to say the least. The exclusion of other race's children seemed like laziness on Bethesda's part more than anything else really.

It was easier and less work. Even the human boys and girls have exactly the same face models just with different hair and clothing.

Children in general are unrealistically extremely rare, making it not as bizarre that there are entire races missing. Generally it's best not to pay this issue much mind and hope it's improved in future games, it goes without saying that "children" were not fleshed out well at all.
