Non-Nexus Mods

Post » Tue Sep 23, 2014 4:41 pm

I've spent a lot of time on the nexus site over the past couple of years and it only dawned on me recently that there are probably non-Nexus mods (for some reason). I've seen a few original ones on Steam, but it is hard to navigate through that workshop. So I was wondering if anybody has some non-Nexus mods that they really enjoy and would like to tell me about. :)

Welcome to the forum. Here's your fishy stick: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/General:Fishy_Stick

I like Steam but agree it can be difficult to find things you're looking for. Hopefully they will work on that.

I've found that it's hard to go wrong with the category of "Top Rated all Time".

I am really enjoying LP's mods Become a Bard http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=200602183 and his Another Sleep mod. There is a thread here if you search and has a direct download link. The Become a Bard mod is even more fun with Vilja as a companion.

The only Steam mods I'm using are http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=101419466 and Benjamin318's Dwarven Centurion Retextures - and the latter doesn't seem to be available anywhere ATM. Other non-nexus mods I like are, for example, Skyrim Realistic Overhaul (1.6 + Dawnguard – 2048K) and HelloSanta's SG Hair Pack 268.

I quite enjoy ThirteenOranges's mod: http://steamcommunity.com/id/ThirteenOranges/myworkshopfiles/?appid=72850

I use the additional places plugins in every game of mine. If you like the quest or arena mods is up to you. I don't like them that much because you get teleported very often. But all mods are well done, contain quality voice actors which fit perfectly into Skyrim.

Any/all of Shezrie's mods http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198052871752/myworkshopfiles/?appid=72850 . Her Breezehome and Hearthfire mods are must haves for me.
