A non specialized warrior build.

I'm mostly curious if any one has tried or played a character like this.
Basically, I'm rolling a warrior who utilizes all of the major warrior skills, but has no weapon specific perks (e.g. Sword, Axe, Hammer) or a high skill in either heavy or light armor. She travels the roads of Skyrim in light armor for its light weight and durability, using a one handed weapon and shield if any danger presents itself. When venturing into a dungeon where grave threats are always a possibility, she dons her heavy armor and tries to hit her enemies hard with a two handed weapon. She has some skill with a bow, which she tries to use when catching any foe unaware, or to use against those pesky dragon's.
All and all, it's pretty fun to play. The challenge is fairly high because none of her skills outmatch greater opponents and her low armor skills don't absorb much damage.
What do you guys think?

I have played a character that tried to keep One-Handed, Block, Two-Handed, and Archery levelled equally, and Perked very similiar. The character was not that Gimped unless facing a Boss at the end of a Dungeon. This is a fun playstyle, and Armor only really counts when taking Melee Damage, or becoming a pincushion when not using a Shield.
