Non-violent RP idea

I'm not going to specify a year for reasons that will become clearer as you read more of the story.

It's set on the outskirts of the Alaska/Canada border after the Great War. Alaska itself was hit in a few places from the bombs, but you were well-endowed enough to have settled in the "boondocks" of the Yukon, away from any proper cities, and definitely away from any of the cities hit by bombs.

Because of this, most of the wildlife and a few water sources were kept clean. There's still the underlying fallout, yes, but no where near severe enough to kill you. Many people fled from their own settlements and into the relative safety of the Yukon territory. Most died from poor survival skills, though some were fortunate enough to make it to my own cottage.

Here, with a small group of people, we made a hunter/gatherer living, killing deer for meat, fishing for food, pumping and boiling water, the works. We've scavenged and traded for books, and have used the supplies the previous owners of this property had stashed in their fallout shelter, namely textbooks, water, bleach, food, gasoline, and batteries.

With this, we made a completely self-reliant and self-taught society. We began to flourish and soon reached upwards of 20 people.

We won't RP that entire story, but that is indeed the backstory.

This is where we will begin. Inexplicably, in a alien abductionesque scenario, we are all incapacitated and awaken in a completely brand new village on the coast. We are hidden away by the mountains, and there seems to be no escape. The people here are completely brainwashed and have no recollection of how they were brought here. We are each stamped with a code and number, and are given our own townhouses. The entire village is stocked with clean food and water, electricity, working radios, a communication service, and is almost mimicking prewar living.

Things are not as good as they seem. You are not allowed to leave this place. There is something much more sinister in store for you and the other villagers. Your every move is watched everything you say is recorded. Can you break the chains of your mental enslavement?

Opinions? Suggestions?

P'shaw, Zalphon, this is NOT TES, it is much different, things can change for different people.

Stream, great idea, go ahead with it when things die down.

I got inspiration from "The Combat Simulator".

You already know what I think Stream. This is a unique RP in that it is about character development instead of combat. Plus I know for a fact that it has an amazing story behind it.

Oh, thanks Stream, I am just a bit gunshy about non-combat ones after DDI, but I read your thing, and it looks good, very, very, very good :)

Seems interesting. I'm not sure how long it will last due to people's short attention spans, but an interesting idea nonetheless. I'd join if I weren't already in one RP, and I don't really have the time to do more than that.
