Hi there,

Names Ractus Im an old 360 head and member of the Forumrunner Clan ( http://www.forumrunners.com/ ).

So Ive seen a bit about Crisis 2, but right now Im looking for the main storyline and what the guts of the game are about. I know that the story takes placxe in a ravaged NYC, and its marines? vs Aliens. Seems like many other SCI-FI FPSs. So whats the story, when I tell my friends about the Crisis2 game. What am I going to say is different about this particular shooter. What inspird the art? What is the avatar versatility like? How many weapons will there be in the MP? Will there be vehichles? How addicting is the MP and what will draw upon the want of gamers for replayability? Are the mp maps big or small and what inspired them?

So the site looks great, a bit complex, seeing as I cannot answer these questions may I suggest to simplify it a little, but not give tto much away.... sometimes less is more.

Thanks for the opportunity.

nice questions u got there about MP, wish any1 could answer them, Crytek hasn't officially announced anything about it except that they they've got one of their entire studios working just on MP which sounds good :) the first Crysis MP, which is now called Crysis Wars since the Crysis Warhead stand alone expansion and will most likely carry that name to the second game, was unfortunately not very popular due to many valid reasons, but the concept of the game, the nano suit makes the SP incredibly replayable (i'm still playin it after 3 years!). the maps range from small through mid to huge with many vehicles and weapons- this is in the first Crysis Wars- and MP modes inlcude Instant Action (Death Match), Team Instant Action and Power Struggle which is a very strategic team based mode with the largest maps and most vehicles including airial vehicles, tanks, jeeps, boats, and MPCs. Th was not very replayavle online because there wasn't any kind of upgrade system for anything at all except in power struggle but those upgrades were only weapons attachments and lasted the duration of each match, there was no leveling or raking system at all which was a huge reason why not many people stuck around for long. We're hoping that most of these faults will change in Crysis Wars 2 (the MP name is not announced im just assuming the name) as the company has been showing a great deal of improvements in the gameplay and style of Crysis 2 adressing a lot of things that needed improvements and we're hoping they will carry this over to MP.

do not question perfection, only sacrifice yourself to the game. only then can you truly reach the level of FanBoy that we have!

Crysis 1 was never meant to be strong in MP so i am true to my allegiance to this fanboy flag (lol Kevin Buttler's epic speech at Sony press ). and besides i actually loved the Crysis Wars MP i just stopped playing because there wasnt much to keep playing for. plus i kept getting owned by clans and there wasn't enuf people playing. but as o said i am still absessed with the SP, i just can't get enuf of those Koreans :P

You have to experience for your self, but what I instantly had was the ambiance of the game. For me, crysis 1 looked so real, that I really felt I was in a jungle. Combined with the amazing nanotech suit were you could sneak past enemies in the forest is just amazing. It is all about the ambiance combined with over the edge graphics that creates an unsurpassed gaming/(virtual reality) experience for me. And I play and have played many, many games.

@IRON-MAN2910, gotta agree about those koreans in Crysis, on the village level, i left one guy on the road in mounted mg, and took care of the rest, then came back to him, I then took great pleasure in grbing his throat, and just carreing him all over the level, bouncing him off walls and stuff like that, even dropped him off on or two vehicles, but not using Max strength, so as not to kill him, then when he got back up, id torture him some more, lmao, but when i got fed up, I just plain threw him off a cliff, and gave hime 3 rockets just to be sure. thats when I thought perhaps i shouldn't be quite so mean anymore.

Man seeing just the few replies so far in this thread cause me to relive the massive slaughter inflicted by clans just rolling through every once in a while :[.
