Hey Guys,

I'm running into an issue. I'm trying to purchase my house in Whiterun (Breeze-whatever) I believe is the name of it. (I'm an L14). Well, I thought I remembered being somewhere in the main quest (thought I had a key) but don't.

When I go to the entrance, it says locked and it must be opened with a key. What is my next step to get into the house? Who do I need to talk to? What quest do I need to progress in order to get into the house?

I already have the 5000 gold that is needed, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Talk to the Jarl's steward. You will also return to him for decoration addons.

This is the same for any city that has open property. Once you help out enough and they allow you to buy property in the city, you will talk to the steward of the jarl.

You have to complete the quest the jarl gives you to become this thane then go to his [censored]....I mean his steward :whistling:

You need to be Thane of Whiterun to be able to buy a house.Then you go to Jarl of Whiterun, next to him there is Jarls steward, press talk and you will see a option buy a house.
