Hi Its my very first time with this game and I'ce tryed to roll a "sniper" type. Followed a build on the web that teold me to roll only 1 endurence and well. I couldn't get pass the gecko outside of the town lol.

So now I've make one of my own and I'd like your advice.

Started as:

4 str

9 perc

5 end

4 cha

9 agi

5 luck

As far as skill goes I'm planing to keep med, lock picking and explosive high enough to be able to use anything that I find while slowly venturing around the world and put the remaining into guns, sneak and repair.

Does it sound wright ?

You guys have any advice to give ?

Keep in mind that you can increase each of the Specials with Implants (although how many you can increase is capped by how much you put into Endurance) and the Perk Intense Training can increase SPECIAL too.

Sniping is fun, although I have never built a character specifically for sniping. You do need an up close and personal combat skill when you are face to face with enemies. Explosives can work, so can Melee and Guns for that matter. But do have a secondary combat skill or weapon. Don't worry, there are enough skill points to go around to do this as you play the game.

Get the Comprehension Perk so that Magazines give you 20 points towards a skill temporarily. This means you only need to take your skills to 80 to max them out when needed. So, the skill check skills for things like opening locks and hacking computers or making things can be at 80, but you can still do things that require 100 points. Then skills like Guns which you will use all the time can be taken to 100 sooner.

why strength so low and perception so high? the best energy sniper weapon takes a strength of 5 and the best gun sniper weapon requires a strength of 8. there are ways to meet the strength requirement.

the spawning of the nastys does diminish the effectiveness of perception. but if you just want to roll play...
