Lydia hasn't died for me yet. Too bad she'll stay in my home without adventure.

Offed her accidentally with my bound bow (I'm a terrible shot). She now currently resides in one of my black soul gems ^^

I take Lydia with me as a pack mule and combat backup. I use the WAIT HERE command then proceed on ahead in those damp dark dungeons.

When I get to a spot that looks particularly nasty, I'll attack while in stealth for the damage bonus then lead the enemy back to her position. When I get close enough she'll join in the fray and helps win the fight. I've never killed her but I do have some nice screen shots of her sporting a new piercing; an arrow through her head from front to back! She took it like a trooper until I went to pull it out, then she started to complain about me being a burden...

If I see her drop to one knee I'll use the Helping Hands healing spell on her, as that's when she's about to be finished off.

You should enchant a Daedric sword with it and name the sword Lydia.

She died in some early battle. I took her along with me because I was on master difficulty, early level, and I was very weak combat wise and found it impossible to clear that certain area alone. She must have died somewhere along the way, it was too heated to notice, because I never saw her again and I forgot about her and didn't realize it till like 10 levels later.

She hasn't. I've seen her get knocked to her knees about 5 times, but she's never been killed. In fact, I die more often than her. And I activate more traps than her.

Lydia has died countless times at my hands. She has an uncanny knack for jumping in front of me just when i'm doing a dual dagger power attack on an enemy. She also died from dragon fire, a frost troll attack and from me testing my stormcall shout.

The last one was funny cause i wasn't even aiming at her, but after calling the storm the lightning kept hitting her and she'd say stuff like: "Hey, cut it out!".

Dropped a Dragon on her...or more accurately she dropped it on herself - if you do enough damage to them they can't fly ,she shot it while it was diving in for a strafing run and it dropped out of the sky and skidded along the ground,(it actually dug a furrow in the ground as it crashed),my character got knocked to the side but lydia was directly in front.. ,after I finished the dragon off i started looking around for her and couldnt see her ,I found her sword in the furrow and ended up finding her Under the Dragon!

Oh my.... poor Lydia what an untimely end to her protecting you :)

I hate Lydia... I've never told her to follow me lol. I left her at that crappy, empty, abandoned breezehome.

She hasn't died yet for me. She just sits in my home......eating Sweetrolls.

If Bethesda wanted to make female companions REALLY realistic they would have made them put on weight until they resemble a pear, whinge and whine at you that you haven't taken your boots off and are trecking mud/snow through the home, and then chastise you for not cleaning your weapons ;)

Surely Lydia would get a bit plump sitting around eating sweetrolls all day?

I did the same thing except she ran in front of a bandit and my arrow it her right in the back. Her body went flying and I made like a shrine for her.

At least you gave her a good sending off, alas I have shot her in the back with arrows many times, she has an uncanny knack of charging off into battle roaring when you are quite happy sitting far away peppering a room full of bandits from range! Way to give our cover away Lydia :( Oh well.... CHARGE!!

Mine is now laying in a troll cave caught in a bear trap with all the trolls gathered around her going: "U mad bro?" and "Problem?"

Sacked her at the shrine but I won't be doing that any more, as that's going to be Sven's job.

I pissed off Whiterun guards and she died killing guards. I was completely oblivious to this of course and didn't realize she was dead until days later when a guard stopped me to ask about a dead guard and there was Lydia right next to it. I disposed of the corpses in a gutter with lightning bolts.

I feel just horrible, here I am level 21 and Lydia has been a faithful companion and mostly good company since the beginning! I decided to do a quest today where I had to get that shield for a particular Jarl, the dungeon was full of necromancers and adepts and I was having a hard time with 5 at once plus their summonings! In the confusion I was whirling about wildly with my enchanted mace, smiting the hethen left and right when out of the corner of my eye I noticed Lydia was injured, and down on her knees! I swirled about to help but I was still finishing my previous swing and alas I clouted poor Lydia across the noggin and down she went :(

I felt so horrified that I had killed her that I went on a mad killing streak and destroyed the rest of the necromancers and their boss! But then I had to consider life without Lydia ... I couldn't, I had to reload and start again :(

How has your Lydia met her untimely end?

My Lydia just disappeared. One moment she was behind me the next she was never seen again.

Finished the game with the Kahjit.

My Lydia sits in my room, eating bread.... while she watches me an my wife, Ysolda sleep....its kinda creepy, l have to group her and tell her to go wait in the kitchen (where she belongs) so that me and Ysolda can have some privacy!
