So after 27 hours of hardcoe roleplaying a ncr trooper rising through the ranks, due to my own carelessness of not making mulitple saves i accidently overwrite the save during the final mission and lost all my progress, Im just here to scraqe up some sympathy before i pick myself back up and start a Assassin character, of course hell bent on destroying the ncr :flamethrower:

lay c4 around the bunks inside camp golf, then when everyone goes to sleep just hit the button. On my games at least, some of them actually get stuck in the ceiling. It's a glitch I'm sure, but funny as hell to see.

You played through the whole game on one save? Did someone dare you? :P That stinks, man, I'm sorry.

Save in more slots next time!

Urgh, always svcks when that happens.
Even tho I save in multiple slots (many many slots), I'm still paranoid about over-writing a save that I really want to keep for later reloading purposes or something....

Very sorry, you sound like you put a loot of work roleplaying your build.
I hope it did not put you off trying again.

A good idea is get into the pattern of keeping three saves, two active and one back up.
As then you can use one to keep a safe save every few days, one to back up every couple of quests / hours and one to save all the time.
That is if you have the space ( not sure which system your on ).

Of course if like me you delete or restart all the time, you still can muck up a good run.

Well, we're in the same boat. I'm on PS3 and forgot about the 'Ranger Andy bug' in Rauls quest. Guess who has to start a new character? :banghead:

Well considering its only like 9 quests to get there.. 27 hours is pretty lengthy that could be accomplished in easily under 10-15 hours, i just wanted to get there for my roleplay purposes so i could start on my more important sidequests for the way i was playing

I never overwrite a save in case of corruption and my own stupidity. Now youve learned your lesson.
