I see most of this thread is filled with sarcasm (to be expected.) but I am mildly disappointed by this.

Though, I'm with Inglar. Let's be thankful we have beards at the very least. *shudders at the thought of Oblivion*

Use the blind eye and a bit of imagination?

It's not same. >_>

OT:
I personally don't care about eye-patches, but I feel your pain.
I wonder if there will be any blindfolds in game since I RP as a blind swordsman (I still doubt that there will be).

Oh, I'm terribly sorry that your blind eye will negatively impact your pristine appearance. Perhaps you'd like to cheer up with some fairy cake and womanly dancing to lift your spirits, you pointy-eared pansy.

This is SKYRIM. A place for MANLY MEN. And manly men do not cover their scars up. In fact they wish to draw attention to them, all the better to attract the ladies. They also appreciate beards, seeing as they are reportedly quite rugged.

Huh, hadn't thought about that. Can't say I really care.

Then again, there was always that occasional moment where I'd run into a person in Fallout: New Vegas who had an eye patch, and I'd be like "Aww, can't loot it."
Though perhaps that's simply the hoarder within?

Win. Definitely going to be an in-game line for M'Aiq.

Upon reading the title I was expecting something like: 'he confirmed that there won't be any werewolves in Skyrim', but damn, this is worse.

Steam is more of a valid reason not to buy Skyrim since you're paying a lot of money to not own a game.

I don't get it either. We have blind eyes already. Just have your character be blind in one of them and add a scar across it.

it'll be a 2nd week mod.

Since they suppose to be using the nif format for objects again, you can easily reuse existing meshes/texture and just recompile a mod using the new construction set. It can be yours on day one.
