Nordic religions

Which of the Nordic religions do you prefer?

The Atmoran totemic representation of the gods with animal worship. Dragon, Snake, Wolf, Bear, Fox, Moth, Whale, Owl and Hawk.

The Ancient Nordic Pantheon. Alduin, Shor, Mara, Stuhn, Orkey, Dibella, Tsun, Jhunal and Kyne.

The Modern representation of Nord belief. Akatosh/Alduin, Shor, Mara, Stendarr, Arkay, Dibella, Ysmir/Talos and Kynareth. (I'm not certain about Zenithar)

The Skaal worship of the All-Maker.

While they're all interesting, I think I like the modern representation.

Milk. Chocolate milk.

Atmoran Totems. That's the religion which I have been working with because of it's important part of lore and history of the mod I'm working on.

Mead.

I prefer the ancient Nordic pantheon, and I was quite disappointed that it has been merged as much as it has with the Nine Divines.

And I can't answer the second question since I've never tasted mead. Was never one to drink a lot, only socially.

The Atmoran Totems and the Ancient Nord Pantheons are the same thing and are the only Nordic religions listed in the OP's poll. King Borgas and the Imperial Cult can kiss my [rear end].

Also, tr00 Nords drink fermented elf blood mixed with ice wraith essence. Honey is for the soft.

The Atmoran and Ancient Nord are the same, the animals represent the gods.

They are somewhat different in that with the Atmorans, the Dragon cult reigned supreme while the ancient Nords got rid of that. Of course both pantheons did represent the exact same gods.

I am glad that I'm not the only one who dislikes the Alessian crap, though I wish the modern Nords would actually worship Jhunal.

So you're saying that the presence of the animal cults is what differentiates the Atmorans from the Ancient Nords?

Blame it on Todd Howard and the rest of BGS.

Kyne is my favorite goddess, so ancient Nordic. And mead. Or brown ale. We have a couple of very nice local breweries in my hometown. :)

I hate when polls like these aren't multiple choice.

I'm fond of the All-Maker concept, now that I know something about it; worshiping the All-Maker in the first place and then honoring other benevolent deities after him seems most fitting to me, being a Catholic. Once I get Dragonborn and learn more about this, Ulfius will probably tend in this direction, especially if indeed the ancient Nords worshiped the All-Maker prior to contact with Cyrodillic culture.

I agree. I suppose it makes sense but considering the nords seem to be all about "the old ways" it seems to be a missed opportunity not to explore the nordic religion that was established in the previous games. It's just a bit dissapointing...

Pretty much,

Though from what I remember Todd kept on talking about how Nords worshiped dragons during the gameplay demos and such. However 3 minutes into the game Lokir made me facepalm.
