Let me explain.If the Nords in TES are Nordic people on our planet what are the Imperials,Bretons and Redguards etc..I think the Imperials are the Aryans (latin people from west Europe),Bretons due to their shortness probably Ltino (South Americans), Redguards obviously Africans (Negroids).Maybe i'm wrong but you guys may know more tell me.

They are not really IRL counterparts but some influence you can see, like the Imperials is to Roman, Nord is to Nordic, but not all are clear cut.

Yes agree these are words that are no longer legit but whatever i had to use something to define them.Indo Europeans would be way off what i wanted to say cuz all white people in Europe are indo Europeans.This includes Slavs,Nords and the rest whatever they are.I'm Slavic between.

Well here's how it works. Human races are born from the group of an ancient quasi-divine people called the ehlnofey who wandered when the world was made. Nords are most closely descended from Atmorans, one group of wanderes who went to a northern continent and back. Redguards come from a place called Yokuda, for to the west, and oh buggerit look there's no damned Africa on Nirn and no African peoples ever swept into a foreign continent in a large-scale imperialist invasion force. Wow, but-hurt much? Bethesda clearly didn't make any IRL paralells between the races that they were creating and real world cultures at-all did they? I would be inclined to agree that drawing every race to a single period/region/country would be an over-simplification but excuse us lesser fans for wasting your precious time; I don't think anyone in the thread was suggesting that the Redguards crossed over from Africa actually or indeed any other parallel.

I'm I the only one offended by the Breton being Latino cause they're short? I'm of Puerto Rican descent and am 6'2. I'm tired of this stereotype that all Latinos are like South Americans. Caribbean Latinos are different in almost every way. Also what's up with the word Negroids?

Nords are Scandinavians, Imperials are Greco- Roman, Breton's are more like the French, since they all have French sounding names and look French And Redguards are mixture of African and Arabian.

Negroids is a real word. It's an anthropological term referring to humans with "African" features.
