Normal Map (with specular?) textures too shiny.

I found your error  Your Texture Map was WAY to bright. It was complete White. I added a 55% layer black on it and now it looks good
So it wasn't anything fatal. You should NEVER use complete white in a texture

Screenshot comes here

lol didn't even think of that even though I ran into the same problem today when I was fixing my char's eye color. Good job ;)!

Look at my bear! {edit} lol, what is that cute thing next to it. Is that a Khajiit face mod? Looks like a kitty

What do you mean by adding a 55%black layer? Can you tell me the process? Does the percentile also refer to the opacity of the overlay? I must be doing something different because I even made the bear close to Black and it was still shiny.

Geonox, I hear you. I will test out any future difficulties by doing that.

Well if you use Photoshop, Make a new layer to the texturemap, select the complete fur and just left out the things which don't need to be darker. Then make the new layer Black and set the occopacy to 55. Save that and it isn't shiny anymore.

The Kitty is my Skyrim Character "Meow" its no face mod, it is a complete race with body , hand texture and stuff made after my house cat ;)
