I started the game, set the graphics, and up came the intro screen "Press any button to begin". I got THIS FAR. A screen menu popped up with "New, Load, Settings, Crew and Quit". This is where I get stuck. The first time around, I pressed EVERY key to no avail (though if I press F12 it tells me I took a screenshot), but no key will allow me to select anything other than the highlighted "New", nor will it allow me to start a new game. The little video screen on my Logitech G19 keyboard is blank, not even the CAPSLOCK will cause my "capslock on" light to light up. So, it kills my keyboard, huh?

I rebooted, and tried again. This time my LCD screen on my KB works, the capslock turns the light on and off, but nothing happens. No key will allow me to start or select settings etc.

Can anyone help me at least START the game?

Any help provided will be gratefully received and thanks in advance for providing it.

OK, I tried EVERYTHING and eventually got it going. The game INSISTED I had a Xbox or PS4 type gamepad controller connected, and it was waiting for an input from that device. I had to dig it out of the drawer, connect it up and use it to convince the game I wanted to use KB and Mouse. Eventually, it decided that that was acceptable to it, and I was able to get past the introductory menu.
