Not angry, just disappointed :(

Crysis 2 has been a complete bust for me as well as many others. The game has sooo much potential but Crytek has done an absolutely terrible job at showing their full strength. As a PS3 owner, this has been the worst game (bug and lag wise) that I have ever seen. And I've seen some pretty bad games. I am not here bashing Crysis 2 or trolling the forums, but this game has issues all over the place (even the PC gamers are experiencing issues). I regret buying this and I should have known better that this just wasn't a console game. But who knew Crytek would screw us over like this :( No need to respond to this just letting out my thoughts. Bye and godspeed all.

A few online bugs is completely normal for ANY new game. Get over it. It's not anywhere near as bad as you people make it out to be.

The framerate issue really ruins the game..

Well, a great deal of people aren't having that issue. I have sympathy for those that do, but to dismiss a game that's this young (not even got our first patch yet) is kind of childish.

there are rumors that framerate issues cannot be fixed unless they make a new disc

What? Like I said, not everyone is having frame rate issues. That means it can't be a problem with the disc. I know some games have crappy frame rates at the core level that could never be fixed without basically recoding the game, but this game runs fine for me and others.

If this game had a low frame rate for everyone because that's just how the game runs, no patch is ever going to fix it. But the fact is it doesn't. It runs at a perfectly playable frame rate for some people.

To OP, I feel the same way as well. Fortunately for myself, I had low expectations coming in, so the bugs don't seem quite as bad.

Something that is upsetting me however is everyone's feeling towards patches. As of lately, more and more games are getting released with several bugs/glitches on all genres and on all platforms. "It's only been a week so it's normal for it to have some problems". No, it's not. A game should be released, ready to go the day it launches. Publishers shouldn't be releasing unfinished products and make the customer wait for a fix that will make it playable.

I'm not upset at crytek. I'm upset at EA for intentionally releasing an unfinished product, in order to get a few more sells.
