NOT another Dollar or Penny - Boycot Crytek

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 12:07 pm

OK you got me for a lot of money, the game had a lot of potential but Crytek tailed to deliver. I will never spend another dollar on a Crytek game ever again given the lack of fixes for a product with so many flaws and not even a good faith effort to fix them.

Will I buy Crysis 1 on psn - no
Will I buy Homefront - no
Will I buy a game the suggest it using Cryengine 3 - no

My only hope here is to get a pound of flesh for you guys cheating me out of the money I gave you for the game and the DLCs.

When this game came out many of your country men were so proud of your achivement - I am sure all the feel now is embarassment. You had a winner here if you would have executed a good game but you failed due to imcompetence.

I am an old guy(58) and I feel I got snukered. When the DLCs came out Crytek was still saying they were going to fix the game. So on good faith I dropped another 15 into the game. And then they disappeared. To me the multiplayer has such potential but so many flaws. It is a pain to try to squad up with friends - make that painfully impossible. A buddy of mine has had his stats reset twice - trust me he is not a cheater.

Can I trust Crytek - obviously not! I am still foolishing sitting on the game hoping that they will fix it. Will I continue to give feedback that reflects there lack of ethics - of course.

We gamers have a choice , there are a lot of games on the Market. Why would we support Crytek and EA when they have treated us with so little respect. The defrauded us by suggesting they were going to fix the game but still sold the DLCs.

As a good faith effort. Crytek should fix the game and give everyone the DLCS. They would not lose a lot of money doing this. Not a lot of people are going to buy the DLCs at this point. This way the people who did purchase the DLCs could play them.

Crytek needs to understand that it will cost them money in the future if they fail to live up to their current obligations. EA has also been unresponsive.
If I was Germany who takes pride in their engineering, I would pack up the 3 brothers and send them back home to their homeland. This game is a Turkey. Sorry for the pun.

You are absolutely right @wolfpengap.
this will cost to crytek more in the future as it would now if they give everyone dlcs for free for their mistakes.
For sure there's other games, my next for sure is bt3, and i won't waste more time with crytek, but i come here to say all these things to make them realize e get real, and then start to do things right. And if one day they and i hear someone say "yeah this game now is fine, really, there is no bugs like crysis 2 this time they didn't screw up", then i maybe buy a game again from then.

EA ever did good games and did never has issues like this one, and i had read somewhere that all the software of the game is under crytek cares.

So EA got the infelicity to make business with crytek, cause obviously this game will always remember everyone how problematic this game was and the name of EA is gonna be linked to it, even if only crytek is technically responsible for it.

Man what is this? Ageism? Why would he only understand when he's sixteen? In that year of highschool they teach you how to be pissed off at something so small as a positive comment? I hate you whinny players, always with the negative! Yes crytek might ignore us and not try and fix the problems, but at least they gave us these awesome games! You, sir, need to chill out, and stop hating on someone because they're younger than you.

Man i don't hate anybody here, you get things to serious don't you? i said fanboy before to now his age ok.
But yes, a kid don't understand something like the compromise that a enterprise has to it customers, because it is a pay service, and that's how it's saw by law to.

You paid for something, you have the right that it will work properly like what it should for you.
There is no hate on that, is just the right thing.

You won't see me here on forum saying how i hate crytek or something like that.
