Pelinal is a monster-robot from the future. Hence the "kiling light," known in modern terms as a "laser." This needs some explaining, does this have anything to do with the magic technology of Akatosh's big spaceship thing? Also, if he is a robot, how can he be a spirit? is this a thing on the nature of sentient AIs like

Another: Pelinal is the Shezzarine. This could mean a lot of stuff, anything from Shezzar literally forming a human body for Himself to a simple person mantling Him, even perhaps accidentally. This makes a of of sense, since some folk (me included) consider Shezzar the space god, connected and in eternal opposition to Akatosh the time god. Hence his ability to literally unmake parts of the world. In general the most likely, IMO.
Yet more: Pelinal is simply human, but an ultra-[censored]. Cool and inspirational, but in a world like TES, only likely if the human mantled something really really big.
Another: Pelinal is a chaotic fusion of a human form, Akatosh and Shezzar together. This could be divine intention or, in what I think would be interesting, a human was mantling either akatosh or Sezzar (whitch one is immaterial) then realized that they were part of a greater whole (Let's throw that Enantinomorph thing in here, eh?), thus creating an unstable Meta-Mantling, hence being totally effin crazy.
Well, I have to go due to electrical storms in my area, but I hope you folks can have some fun with the crazy Divine Knight until I get back!
