_Yes, I realize I put Operator instead of Operative_

Just wanted to ask or rather get an opinion on who is and why you aren't being an operative. I recently saw a poll page showing that the majority of the people (taking the poll I guess) want to be an Operative and want to get the Walmart Spec Ops kit (we're getting that highly unique indivdual character aspect down aren't we lol).

So, is anyone NOT falling into the whole "I want to be the Lone Wolf vigalante" mindset? I think I've seen one engineer and two medics in my two weeks of watching this forum. I personally think I'm going to fall into the Engineer or just rock some big booms in the Soider teir.

((P.S.)) I forgot to look but is there a rule against "fluff" posts on this forum? Like, "I want to be in Security because, yargh yargh yargh".

Im going assault or medic but obviously will try everything and most likely keep switching till i find my play style.

After games release i feel that people will branch out and not everyone will play operative.

Well ironically the operative is going to be on of the harder classes to play. People like ninjas so they think they can be ninjas. Anyway despite wanting to play an operative I will play all classes.

Also I feel you don't like operatives but they are a part of the game and if everyone on your team is an operative you can't win.

I think the operative is awesome, but I feel like I'll have a hard time using him efficiently until I get used to the general swing of things- as I predict many people will, despite the current enthusiasm for that particular class. I'm going to start as a medic, pretty sure. I feel like it will be easy to be useful with him. Keep everyone happy with healing and buffs, and provide support fire when you can. Simple enough.

Operative never interested me. I plan on playing mainly soldier for at least a good while. It works with my groups dynamic.

Mainly medic. Like to play engineer as well. Operative ocassionally, soldier not so much. I'll switch around though.

Engineer and operative, Im thinking most "mainstream" gamers will try solider, theyll be in for a shock when they find out explosives are not all powerful like in COD.

personally i'll probably be primarily playing engineer.

Ninja medic. I call it ninja medic because I'll be using anything I can to stay off the mini map and flank the enemy team while healing my team......

Not interested to playing Operative. I had my fun with sneaking around in a ghillie suit and using my knife in BC2, but it was never as fun as running straight towards someone with an LMG

Could you link this poll? Because I remember one where the Spec Ops pack was winning, but that has nothing to do with how many Operatives there will be.

And for the record, I'm getting the Psycho Pack and plan on mainly playing as an Operative. However, I'm not planning on lone wolfing it - I've got two friends I'll be playing with regularly, one who will be mainly playing Soldier, and another who will mainly play Medic.

I'm sure he mean the thread where it was asking who was playing as what.....

Played most mainstream games and plan on playing a soldier to go off first, but more interested in keeping people in the fight with free ammunition. If I need to set a charge on an objective, I'll do it. If I don't play a soldier, it'd then be a medic, then I'd play an engineer. Operative hasn't much interested me; in fact, I'm almost worried about there being too many of them. They may not win games, but people will do what they find fun (or whatever pisses the other team off).

I'm gonna be a medium (because I don't like the heavy weapons and not having much manuverability) and I'm probobly gonna be a Medic since I'm good at support roles.

Not playing Operative because of how many people want it just to be "ninja."

Not hating on operative but honestly... you can do just as much stealth [censored] with any of the other classes.

Stealth in a general sense yes. Going behind lines and hacking and intel gathering no.

Being stealthy isn't just about using the abilities given to your class. Plus, you can still give away enemy locations if you're behind the lines as a medic/soldier/engi

I want to play the operative due to his abilities in Brink nothing more nothing else. Same reason I want to play engineer, medic or soldier; its fits how I want to play the game.

I hear 'ya. It'll really all depend on how the classes play out once the game is released. For now I plan on sticking with medic mainly but like Quake Wars I'll probably end up switching to whatever class is required if the objectives aren't getting done.

im going to mainly be a soldier and my secondary will be engineer (though i will be playing all four those are the ones i want to play)
