Do Not Delete : V

Sometimes when I check the miscellaneous section of various vendors in Skyrim they have this item called "Do Not Delete" that looks like a wooden chest. Whenever you drop it, it sort of just floats in midair wherever you've dropped it. I did some experimenting, and it seems to behave like the paintbrushes in Oblivion. You can use them to jump onto to get to places that are to high. What is this item, and why are they available in shops sometimes.

Oh yeah, it has a value of 250 Septims.

I see you guys don't believe me, so I guess this is a lot rarer of on occurrence than I thought. I'd take a picture, but I'm playing on the Xbox 360.

That's probably the merchant's chest which somehow made it to the vendor's inventory

People should really turn of darkening mods when making videos, or provide sufficient lighting.
All I see is a mostly black screen.

Its a place holder that Devs use for various things. Sounds like a glitch, something isn't loading properly.

May depend on your eyesight and hardware quality.
With me, both are not excellent.

When making a video, always go for accessibility because you want viewers. So turn those darkening mods off, and provide ample light.

On this item, I think we can all agree its a glitch or bug.

For you own savegame dont mess with it. Dont click on it, dont take it, dont drop it.
Things like this have a high chance of permanently corrupting your savegame.

(The item dupe glitch, infinite corpse money glitch in Oblivion all did exactly that, potentially corrupt your save to unplayability.)

One of these sometimes appears in the http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/9798/screenshot30fz.jpg in my game. Out of curiosity, I purchased it and then http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/3521/screenshot31g.jpg. I reloaded afterward so as to not break anything and check back with her now and then to see if it's up for sale again. I've only seen it twice so far and only with her.
