Not a PC expert, can someone help me make a better CFG?

I'm not a huge computer expert, at least not when it comes to working the inner workings of a program. I can work software alright and I usually understand the configuration settings included with most games (That aren't included with CrySis 2 of course; though I use WasDie's advanced options.) but I don't really understand the advanced stuff. I tried making a custom configuration for CrySis 2, but it was all Gibberish to me. Every time I made one, I would improve something - but make something much worse. For example, I made the lighting and draw distance look better once (And honestly - draw distance is the thing I want most.) but the polygons and character models looked like something out of a mid 90s game where they looked like they were made out of folded paper.

I'd really like some assistance making a custom cfg. I will post my specs and I will say I'm not looking to max out every setting (Though some nicer effects would be nice) and the CFG I downloaded for maxing every setting was a bit too much for my computer, but the main thing I want is smoother edges and draw distance. The draw distance bugs the hell out of me, especially in mutliplayer. I can barely see anyone at a distance even when they aren't cloaked, and even if I can they appear fuzzy. This frustrates me because I always get killed from long distances, and when I watch the replays I go "How the hell did he see me from over there?!" and this isn't an issue with other games. I can see perfectly at a long distance in, say, Bad Company 2.

Here are my specs:

Processor [== Quad Core ==] AMD Phenom? II X4 965
Processor Cooling Asetek Liquid CPU Cooling System (AMD)
Memory 8 GB [2 GB X4] DDR3-1333 Memory Module
Video Card ATI Radeon HD 5850 - 1GB - CrossFire Mode (Dual Cards)
OS Microsoft Windows 7 64 Bit Ultimate Edition

Create an autoexec.cfg and stick it in the root Crysis 2 folder.

This is mine for the moment. My settings in game are the lowest. You have pretty much the same rig as I except I only have one 5850. You should run fine with this seeing as I do.

I'll see if that helps; I do want to try and keep extreme textures and 2x MSAA though and I can hopefully figure out what commands they are through Wasdie's tool. My game runs perfectly with those settings, it's mostly the draw that annoys me.

EDIT: Thank you very much. There is much better visibility here, and I was able to figure out which settings put textures and such back to Extreme, and the visibility doesn't seem to impact performance much (It's a tiny bit lower - but 45 FPS is still pretty good, as nice as 60 was.)
