Not so happy for faces in the game

Post » Sun Oct 16, 2011 9:51 pm

I'm talking about human races because there's nothing to accuse khajiits, orcs and argonians. They look variously, interesting and unique. But human faces - not really. If you look closely at them, you'll see that they all are "brothers and sisters". Main differences are scars, hair and skin colour but that's where the uniqueness ends. Their "looking from eyes" is the same! And shapes of chins - same! Tell me, what do you think? Am I wrong?

Every screenshot and video I've seen shows a titanic improvement over the character models of Oblivion in every single way imaginable. I can't agree with you at all.

I think it may be screen pics you have seen but i see what you mean, specially the women but if you look at the picture on people from the game they don't look anything like they did on those picture someone took from creating screen.

I think they look excellent. Most of the difference in human races were body size, stats, and voices mainly anyway. (Redguards excluded, they were always fairly immediately recognizable!

I have to agree on the part that a lot of them have sort of the same facial structure, but it's not a big deal or concern to me.

They're humans, theirs not much you can do to them to make them look drastically different from each other. Elves can have different skin colors, different sized ears and unique facial features(like the Dunmer's eyebrow ridge). Argonians are giant lizards, and khajiits are giant cats. Humans are humans, we all look relatively the same.

edit: who the hell has never had pancakes!?

I've been thinking the exact same thing actually, but since everyone has been saying that they all look so unique and interesting I never voiced my concern.

Outside of skin color and hair color, what separates the appearance of humans in real life?

This^

Despite living in different parts of the world, they are all similar. Just like the people of skyrim, or anywhere else.
