It doesn't make sense. The SCAR is freakin' overpowered and the energy is empty in less than 10 seconds...
wow, really? sometimes it happens in 2-3 seconds even with armor on.

game has a few issues, just like most games with MP. though i think a lot of the issues people here are complaining about has more to do with the connections. 90% of the games i'm in the connections are pretty low. on average i've seen 2-3 players with green bars, everyone else in red or yellow. thats pretty bad.


though it's weird that you don't see the lag like in other games. this one doesn't get choppy at all. maybe i just smoke wayy too much weed.

one thing i found out that is complete **** BS is that if your enemy has a better connection than you, you will likely die a bull **** death while fighting him.

I see here a number of people saying that "MP is crappy and unpredictable" then a bunch of others defending the game and saying things like "it has a steep learning curve, you are dumb."

Well, I've played pretty much every FPS ever (other than Homefront which was obviously going to svck) and I feel like this:
This game has an awesome learning curve with lots of interesting things happening. There are lots of mechanical control factors involved that make it more intelligent and more engrossing than any other game ever. So those guys are right.
Unfortunately the game also suffers from unprecedented lag issues. Bullets fly through six feet of concrete, you can dump dozens of bullets into bad guys to no avail, snipe right through people's heads to no effect, you name it. When I'm host my K/D quadruples. It's not a figment of my imagination, it's real and stupidly consistent. So the other guys are also right.
Further more: These two issues create a compounding issue. By which I mean: it's hard to figure out how complex mechanics work when you may or may not hit someone when you shoot them to begin with. AND It's hard to tell if someone will die even WITHOUT lag.
So you see the downward spiral....right?

Also, I've noticed that the bars often have nothing to do with performance. I was in a lobby where a guy had one bar and was literally invincible. Our entire team shot him together and he did not die. We a laughed and rage quit.
Please note: I know that this guy wasn't using the (retarded halo rip) hologram because he was returning fire and his kill cam showed him getting torn apart by bullets.

no, seriously, this guy is right, there is no consistency with MP, a lot of **** kills going on, with all the lag, the weapons don't even fire at all.

the best death experience i had in this game was in terminal map, where i shot the guy using cloak upclose and melee'd him from behind only for him to whiff two swings and kill me? kill cam clearly shows im not front of him

The MP is Derp, however I feel most of this is down to the lag fest that's being seen at the moment. I'll finish the SP and shelve it till it's been sorted. If not *shrug* move on to the next game.

Definately. I would love to see youtube inundated with videos of this type of stuff set to funny music. If enough people did it quick enough, EA would have to fix the problem.
We should do this fast, before the big sale period is over.

I think the MP is very random.
I don't understand why they would have this super nanosuit with all the fancy perks if someone can turn around and blow and you fall over.
Not that this happens all the time but you can have all the perks in the world activated and a fart could blow you away.
And you would think that a good helmet would help but the random headshots are over the top.
The kill cam is a comedy fest. I can get shot in the head by a dude spraying an M60 from the other side of the map, or one that really tickled my ribs was when I was on a roof, emtying a SCAR with Reflex scope into the back of a dude camping at mid distance and he must of felt a little mozzy bite and turned around and poped a few auto shotty pellets into me and I must of had a heart attack or something, because I just like ... died.
Spawning, dynamic / static, whatever. This can be pretty annoying sometimes. I am lv22 so have played a lot and times are too numerous to when I have died within seconds of spawing next to an enemy.
Ok with solo I guess but if I am playing team matches can at least spawn closer to one of my teamates then one of the enemy?
Also, the rotating host is a good idea but not working as good as it can. You will have a good host for one match, with 75% of players on 3 or 4 bars, then the next round (with the same players in the room) it will select a host that gives 75% of players 1 red bar. I'd rather stay with a constant host then rotate for the sake of persistant "host advantage" to a worse one.
Anyway, with that out of my system, I am enjoying this game a lot as it looks great and runs smooth (for me) and now I'll shut up and get back to it.

Considering the engine, Crytek did well.

This isn't the same **** IW4 engine that CoD has used 4 times in a row, this is CryEngine 3 and it has never been used on consoles before. Of course it's going to have a rough start. What game DOESN'T have these problems, really?

That's what the BETA was for, you seem to think that games can release like WOW did.
There is no excuse for a game running this poorly on release.

If you stop sprinting and leaping around soo mutch you will have more energy and therfor more health. deciding when to use and not use you abilitys is what makes the MP so deep.. This isnt just another point and shoot game.

spawning problem isnt a problem, it spawns you next to enemies but not exposed. its a fast paced game deal with it, also if your playing "instant" action or team you need to know why its called "instant action"

Players claiming the problems are a matter of skill are **** retarded.

There is no skill in this game. The online code is so terrible, the hit detection is so ****, and the weapons are so inconsistent, that the entire game is a spray-and-pray nightmare.

The game is ****. Pure ****. One of the single worst multiplayer experiences ever foisted on the unsuspecting public. Crytek and EA should be ashamed to take money for this ****.

You backed up all your points so well I can't argue with any of it.

There has been problems, but maybe there either lag or just ****? And people need to seriously calm down with the Multiplayer issues, the game hasn't even been out for a week and people are cussing it out, it will probobaly get fixed... -.-

Why spawn next to enimies at all? At least impliment a bit of (or longrer) spawn invincibility then and I'll accept that.
Not exposed is not accurate. I have been spawned pleanty of times right in fornt of a static or camping enemy and as soon as I move I am busted and popped in the back.

It seems like its mostly to do with connection. It's only been out 2 days (UK) and I'm sure they will get it sorted out over time. Its an awesome game and I can see a lot of potential in the multiplayer as well. It would be epic if there was dedicated servers on consoles so everyone had a fair connection. I always seem to get 2 bars and I do notice it, but I am still having fun overall. Hopefully they implement something that allows you to search for games locally if they can't put in dedicated servers.

Wow. Seriously? The game's been out for 2 days and people are already saying it's **** and broken. Need I remind people that Black Ops was broken when it came out and surprisingly, IT'S STILL BROKEN and nearly six months on at that! I've played Multiplayer for the past couple of hours and have found no problems with it other than some inconsistent hit detection but all the reasons people have given for it being bad other than that are purely because you've not played the game long enough to get all the dynamics right, I still haven't got it right either so stop moaning, play the game and get better or you can go and play another game. It's that simple.

i think that the multiplayer is great the armour abilites really make this a fun and intense shooter to play. just give it a chance and you will enjoy it just takes practise if your used to playing cod.

The game has too much lag. This makes hit detection completely random. I've played a game where , while armoured, two pistol shots from across the other side of the road in Wall Street killed me. I've emptied clips into people and been shot by a single bullet. The same old crap that ruined BO. I'm no CoD fanboy at all; I like this game - i just can't play it under these conditions. AFAIC this needs priority fixing.
