not a single frank horrgin reference? WTF!?

Post » Wed Dec 09, 2009 5:15 am

the closest reference to frank horrgin in the nuked oil rig....but never exact reference i mean there were references for the master, drill SGT. ,vault dweller, chosen one , Wrecked vertibird at Klamth (twice i heard it) , Klamth, Marcus, oil rig , navvaro , weapons , old military base that made the super mutant army , shady sand , Luo ( super mutant LT.) , highwayman , jacob (Marcus's old friend), but no frank horrgin reference.....it wouldn't had hurt them to put one reference in the game....maybe after you exploit the Enclave remaints secerts like how jackson did with the drill SGT

Why would there be one of him? He was cut in half, and nuked. Not sure how they could make one of him. Maybe on of the remnants making a mention of him  But its not a big deal.

One of the remnants could mention that the Enclave actually did have a mutant in their ranks once. :P

Arcade:"The Enclave during the height of their power was unstoppable. They enlisted the help of a certain round house kicker. Unfortunately, things went downhill when he was defeated by a chosen one who wandered the wastes with a cameraman who filmed a show about himself vs the wild."

So Frank Horrigan was Chuck Norris and the Chosen One was Bear Grylls? That actually... makes a lot of sense.

How much fanservice do you need? The game was crammed with nods to the previous games.

It makes sense seeing they are right next to the area's FO2 took place, besides at least its plot isn't a giant fanservice killjoy like Fallout 3.

Why would the Enclave itself be mentioned in general? While in terms of series, the Enclave are notorious, inworld speaking, the Enclave by and far is that sheet of metal with an insignia of the company lying half buried in sand, unless you're remnant/near remnant age and from NCR, you're likely not to know what they were, let alone a person in it. Honestly, Sergeant Dornan was far more memorable, I'm glad he was mentioned.

I don't see why you should not enjoy it. It's not trying to dupe you, it's just teaching things in a staged environment, sure it isnt by definition wild, but it teaches the viewer how to do something. I've never watched it though.

Well he goes around acting which stops me from taking it seriously. Why can't they tell you that he isn't really in the true wild instead of deciving me.
