Not sure where else to put this, so here goes...

... Because there's no support forum for the forum itself.

After the last wave of software upgrades, quoting people has become wonky. I can't interact with the quote in any way, without my reply becoming part of the quoted text. If I axe a bunch of text that I'm not specifically replying to, or bold a portion, my reply becomes trapped within the quote box.

If the stuff I'm replying to could still be surrounded by quote tags rather than being quasi-WYSIWYG, it would be a lot more intuitive, I think. Because as soon as you start interacting with the quoted text, strange things happen.

Running Firefox 20.0.1, latest release.

Thanks for your attention, even if this is the wrong forum. Move the topic if warranted, of course.

Go into BBCode edit mode to manipulate the text like it used to be (And arguably should still be)

You can turn BBCode mode on by clicking the button that looks like a light switch in the top left hand corner of the post interface.
