I'm not that motivated to do a replay?

So, I finished just before. Good game. But really I don't feel like restarting... Anyone else had this feeling post-game? or even mid-game?

Any idea why?
From what I hear, there are at least 4 different ways to complete the game, with 4 different endings.

Yeah, I'm kinda pseudo-planning a next character too. We'll see how I feel when we get there, though. :P If I didn't feel like restarting, though, I would just reload my save from before the point-of-no-return and polish off my explorations of the wasteland.

You can help a be apart of different factions

+ you don't need to rush through the game technically you can't ever "finish an or complete" Fallout

I've come to the conclusion that I won't hit every place this time. I'll leave a few spot empty for play through 2 and maybe 3.

Right.

To the OP, you should try a different play style. a different character build, choose to side with a different faction, play as an evil character if you played as good or neutral before.

I am relaying y sniper character, making improvements, and stil deciding which ending I want.
I have soldier who uses energy weapons and power armour, and then after that I may make a character who is like a spy/assassin sneaky and talking thier way out of things, but with melee and guns (silenced ones).

Also need ncr and yes man chracter playthroughs, a guy on my friends list already has 1000/1000 0.0 I dont know if I could rush it that quickly. Then again I shall get fable 3 soon, so we will see.

I'm still enjoying my first playthrough...and I can't wait to restart. Making new characters is my favorite part of Fallout.

I just remembered I can still play through hardcoe, which I put off. And yea I guess there are a few different ways to end it. I went with Mr. House the first time, I don't know why everyone says they get funneled into helping the NCR, I literally did nothing for them

I'm trying out energy weapons and to avoid pissing off Caesar too early. As well as exploring the vaults I previously ignored.

Nope, since EW are.. Changed... It just isn't quite as appealing anymore.
Will probably create and unarmed/melee character for my next run and join up with the NCR.

With so many games out there (and so many I have that I haven't even begun).... I almost never just turn around and replay the one I just finished; but the fact that I can replay NV when I'm ready and have a variety of different outcomes and selected paths through the game makes it the next member in my "must keep installed for the life of my PC" sub-group of games ~and that puts in high company.

Yeah I love the replay value of this game, though probably need a break between play throughs, first time through I'm playing as if it was me and how I'd handle the situations, with a build based around what I'm like. next play though I'm gonna try playing as a bad guy, just out for himself, then after that maybe un-seal the guide and play though getting everything

I love New Vegas, but I don't really feel like replaying it. I don't replay any games immediately after finishing one playthrough, as I can never play as more than one type of character. After finishing my first New Vegas playthrough, I'm planning on replaying Oblivion and/or Fallout 3.

Nope, new character after new character for me. The only game coming out for the rest of the year that I want is AC:Brotherhood, and I will be holding off on that for a while.

Finished the game with my first character.
Second character found a path to the Gun Runners stright from Goodspring (It involves some convoluted walking and the death of a couple nightkine)
My third character I wanted to do a quick experiment with and glitched the 'Worn 10mm Pistol' by adding a silencer to it. Apparently the texture or mesh for the worn pistol isn't compatible with the silencer mod and I had already completed my aforementioned experiment before.
So onto my fourth character where I am looking for hidden content.
I'll play this for years just like I played FO3 and FO2.

You just played 40-50 hours of a computer game in a single week, and you're wondering why you don't feel like turning right around and doing it again?

If I played that much in a week, I'd be dying to take a few weeks away from the computer/console altogether.

Nah, I sorta rushed it. I did the main quest and some side quests and unmarked ones on the way to New Vegas where I sort of got svcked into the story more so than exploration. Maybe 30-35 hrs?

There are tons of other content out there. This thing is bristling with quests. I just like walking in the hills sometimes. You know? Feeling the breeze on my face, smelling the ozone from my recently dischard plasma shocking through the air, and laughing at the last Vulpis that threatened me. Oh! And I am a Capricorn and like walking on Lake Mead. Wait... this isn't a Falloutbook Matchmaker? I am so embarrassed. You're a guy! I'm even more embarassed... but ladies, if you like you man plasma capable? We'll wait for someone in New Vegas to reinvent the darn telegraph. ;)

Did you feel like a replay of FO3? I ask because I see a lot more reasons to re-play NV than FO3. I've tried several times to replay FO3 without a ton of mods and I don't get very far before I get bored. I already know what happens in the story and that it's the same every time, and I can only search so many abandoned buildings for Wonderglue before I need to start sniffing said glue to stay interested. :P

I'm already planning my next character.

If you're bored just put the game down a while. Pick up Minecraft or some other casual game and then come back to Fallout NV in few weeks.
