A note to Bethesda

Post » Wed Mar 31, 2010 8:59 am

Wow again im shocked this thread is only a day old and there are 122 post and every post was answered with grace and style . i can only hope to achieve this same feeling in my forums. And i had no idea that so many mature people played the past games from this company . Im not that knowlegable of the past games but i have a question where any of the games multi player online games. Its just a thought i have now that it might also be a big part ?

And also if anyone knows do the moderators work for the company ? Or were they just asked if they wanted to because they stood out as very helpful forum members. And im wondering is it just me or does this happen to other people. Ive noticed even though im active in the forum clicking different theads and such i kinda get bumped in a way . I can still read diferent threads but cant reply anymore untill i sign in again. Does this happen to other people , or should i maybe check my end for any possible issues?

Let me see if I can answer this random assortment of questions.

No, Bethesda has not developed any multi-player games for their IPs. However, they are publishing other games - for example Brink, which will be out next year. That game does have a co-op/multi-player mode.

The moderators are all volunteers. We are members of this forum, and once in a while, if it is decided that a new mod is needed, the moderators and admins discuss likely candidates. A likely candidate would be a member who has shown themselves to be helpful, around regularly, etc.

I have periods where the forum signs me out, and I just have to log back in. But then it will go weeks without doing that again. I use FireFox, so I don't know if that is what's doing it. It comes and goes.

Same here. I think it's the browser/anti-virus getting rid of the cookies and you have to sign in to get a new one. Just a theory. Nothing to back it up

It happens to me as well, and I use Google Chrome.

Without the 'd' as turns correctly quoted. Pretty obvious from my PB account. ;)

You had the opportunity to fill that with Morrowind references and failed dismally.

The regime is run by an iron fist.

More of an iron paw

Nope, we're Civilians. In my case I was latched onto Todd's leg and it was their way of enticing me away. "Look! Shiny badge!"

Mmmm ... Todd ...

I think our forum is great because we have a. awesome members, b. awesome moderators and c. awesome admins.

Ain't they cute?

Cat, rabbit, bird (now deceased*), bear... there's a lizard as well, isn't there? And probably one or more that I've forgotten (sorry).

*Some will claim she is still alive, but no-one escapes the Spanish inquisition Moderator Control Team alive, and she has escaped the MCT, therefore she cannot be alive :whisper:.

Truthfully, we're not really sure exactly what Hungry Donner is....it changes sometimes. Currently he appears to be a dragon. Not like the rest of us normal types. :hehe:

A lack of trolls is enough of a benefit for me to warrant having to make a new account twice. It's a good forum, but some moderators make it their business to not even allow people to contact admins or complain.

Oki then. BTW, is it just me or are most of the mods, or at least the prolific ones, women?
