Ok so Boone is easily my favorite partner. Problems started up recently however, bad enough now that I'm contemplating blowing his brains out

I used him as a mule until I got ed e. Gave him some legion armor to hold for a while. So What you hate them just hold the armor for me. He drops the armor on the floor and asks me, what is it? I exit the dialogue and move on. What is it? He asks me again. Wtf. I tell him lets keep our distance from each other. This bastard still gets close enough and asks me what it is as soon as I stop moving.

SO, desperate to finish this quest I kept pushing on. Thousands of what is its. Finish quest, fast travel to the air force base nellis to realize Boone's not there. I fast travel back to where I was n find him. Decide to take the long way and Walk.

Stop at a few newly discovered caves &vaults which the annoying bastard gets lost in and randomly shows up later on.

Sorry for rambling, venting. Long story short not only does he keep asking.me what is it? But also disappears and reappears a lot. Not sure what to do, I really don't want to have to kill him but idk what else to do. Advice?

I'm accepted by Caesar's legion could this be the issue?
