So here's my problem. I tried to install OBGE on my computer. When I turned on the game, nothing will show. I mean nothing. There just a big black void. I can't see anything, the geometry, the npcs, the objects, nothing. The only thing I can see is the UI. I tried deleting all of OBGE's files, I still have this problem. I disable all of my mods. I still have this problem. I don't want to have to reinstall because I put more time into my current character than I have all of my other characters, but I fear I may have screwed up my game permanently.

I just think that you have to reinstall the game.Before doing so,backup your savesame;) You just installed OBGE wrongly

All might not be lost. I installed OBGE and backed out of it with no harm done. Admittedly I install via BAIN package which takes almost all the risk out of such things. As I recall OBGE documentation has a decent uninstall tutorial. If you need to reinstall original Beth shaders (you might not) those can be found ... I believe ... at Nexus. If not Nexus I know I saw 'em available somewhere.

I don't know if this is part of your problem, but I once had an issue with OBGE and decided to delete it and start over. By mistake I also deleted all of the original shaders because I just assumed that everything in the Data\Shader folder had to do with OBGE. If you deleted all those, you can get another copy http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20348.

pimpskinny is right, that's what happened to me.

You need to keep the shaderpackages, they are part of the original game.

I also recommend installing the OBGE RC, that's fixed all problems I had with OBGE.
