Hi Morrowind Mod community,

I made a Morrowind mod over a decade ago called the Abandoned Flat. Today I was contacted by a very friendly person who apparently had heard rumours that I had died.

To my knowledge I'm still alive. He did not say which community it was that the rumour of my demise was circulating around... so I thought I would come to the home planet so to speak and state plainly that I'm still alive.

I found it curious that someone found my supposed passing rumour worthy, enough so to type out an email at least.

If anyone else had heard the same, I'm not dead. Thanks for taking interest?

I spent about a bit of time trying to find out the source and site of the rumour, but to no avail. If anyone knows, please pass on my not deadedness...

Over the years the mod has continued to be downloaded and I get the occasional email from folks thanking me, which always makes me smile and sometimes be surprised at the interest over a decade down the road.

Umm.. yeah, that's it. I just thought I'd tell someone I wasn't dead. Though I do have a sinus cold.

And the MW community is still very much alive should you decide to return. It will still be here in another 10 years because of OpenMW.

I hadn't heard such a rumor, but it's always cool to see old modders show up here. Thanks for your contributions! Quick Char is one of the most useful mods out there by the way, not sure to what level you assisted Bink with it, but I love it. I'm sure I've tried Abandoned Flat at some point or another too, lol; nearly 70k downloads! Nice work, man.
