Noticing alot of Strange Behavior...

....by Rad Scorpions. In Hidden Valley almost all the Rad Scopions don't stay above ground after you kill them. Some sink out of sight and are never seen again. The kill cam showed a couple falling a very long way through the ground. The rest, however, sort of hang our just below the surface. They then bounce and distort frantically all over the place. They end up looking like something from the Movie "Thing" popping up and down and up and down like they are trying to break free from the ground but can't. Also if I save the game and then reload, some of them will break free as I load in. They'll fly quite a distance through the air too. Fairly entertaining but all those creatures jittering around at hyper speeds can't be good on resources.

Yep, I noticed that too. Also in other locations + not only by radscorps. F3 had it, even worse sometimes - robots & deathclaws flying, super mutants turning into the "Thing" thing. It's probably engine and since it hasn't been fixed in those 2-3 years, you can call it a feature. Be glad it doesn't crash the game :-).

well at lest u didnt have a giant rad scorpion spawn immediately outside the doctors door in goodsprings when 1st starting the game...Giant rad scorp + level 1 character = failure

and yeah, i noticed this too.. mostly by Bark scorpions though.


Also, when are they ever gonna fix the obvious collision detection and [censored] clipping issues with this engine, its been 4 years since oblivion FO3 and now this and not a single "professional development game studio" can get these right? i mean do they like hitting invisible outcroppings of rocks and trees?
