I'm thinking of making a novel based on Fallout.

I'll call it "The Great War: Past, Present and Future"

What is in this novel will not *exactly* follow the correct storyline for Fallout.

So anyway, I might post it when its done (it wont be all that good)

It starts in the year 2056. (lol 21 years before the bombs fell)

The story is through the man remembering the past.

The details are sort of forming

(But I am putting the major parts of the canon into this, for example, Vaults, Super Mutants, Ghouls, etc.)

It's based kind of on the Lone Wanderer and the original Vault Dweller. (In my story, The Lone Wanderer *is* one of the descendants of the Vault Dweller)

Ugh...None of that makes sence to me. Why would the lone wanderer be there BEFORE the war?

So, it is about a ghoul talking of the past? Or through the eyes of the generations of the Vault dweller from before to now?

Eh, I dunno. Seems to have a good chance at being corny. I'll reserve my judgment for the actual writing though. I'm also slightly biased against stories about the LW since they tend to be carbon copies of one another.

That said try writing samples of your story.
Starting here is a good place to start, even if some of the criticism is a little on the "honest" side.

And if you are serious, you need to clarify? The Lone Wanderer and the Chosen One are totally different people, and the Lone Wanderer would not be alive 24 years before the war.

He did say that it would be based off the lone wanderer, but I get your point, I read what he did in Vault 118. Him and Zalphon make a great team.
