No scripts whatsoever, because I don't know how (the ladies think it's cute when I make the "keep it simple" excuse, but really it's true). Also, because I'm lazy and don't want to open Wrye Bash right now, all racial edits are done by tweaking the existing spells and changing their effects - I didn't make any changes to the actual racial stats or data, so it should be 100% compatible with any mods like Oblivion Character Overhaul. I wasn't so delicate with the birthsigns because who cares, birthsigns don't carry a ton of other data that everybody's chomping at the bit to edit. The new classes were just for me, so that I don't have to use the custom class editor ever again. I probably will anyway.
I'm making this a WIP thread because I started this whole thing maybe a few hours ago, and I only just finished putting everything in an ESP. It's probably crazy unbalanced, and now it's time for me to make sure it works - if I edit a spell (ability) to have no effects, will that cause issues? I did that to nullify some racial bonuses I didn't want.
For the most part I'm happy with the racials and most of the birthsigns. If you guys can suggest better names/effects for some of the powers so that I'm not blatantly ripping off Skyrim so much I'd appreciate it. I might change the Argonian power so it isn't redundant with the Lord birthsign. I'm pretty sure I'll have to come up with a different idea for Lover's Kiss. And rein in Moonshadow (should I remove some of the existing buffs, or add more ghostly weaknesses?), which is probably crazy over-powered. (I have a design philosophy, I promise)
I'm either going to test this right now or go to sleep. Tell me what you guys think. I should have it out for release this weekend. Or before.
