So..we now know what Alduin will look like? Your thoughts?

He should be able to use every dragon shout at beyond max power, and generate energy fields like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubgUai8j49E guy. :whistling:

He looks just like I thought he would but he's black. I was hoping he would be red.

He'll likely be around the size of the Akatosh's avatar. Just a guess.

I was hoping for something like how to train a dragon. That big one at the end would have been an awesome alduiin. I'm being serious.

Well we pretty much knew what to expect since Alduin is linked to Akatosh (the dragon on every Imperial item and game cover for most of the series). He looks like a dark evil version of what we should have expect.

I'm not really disappointed, obviously the way he is presented in-game will have a great deal of impact, along with the location/mood/lighting....not to mention voice work. If it were me though, I'd keep him looking rather similar but invert most of his colors, making him white/silverish....with blue eyes but black wings to throw us off.

Needs more BIG.
Like, HUGE.
One of those teeth should be the size of White Gold; his snout should be the size of High Hrothgar.

Keep in mind, Bethesda has stated that in-game lore is 'written history' of the elder scrolls world. Meaning that some historians could have been wrong, or biased ect.
Basicaly they have room to move within stated lore as it is not set in stone, and mortal historians can be fallable.

He looks pretty cool. Just hope he's noticeably bigger than the other dragon's. We know the frost dragon's are bigger than the flame/common ones, so hopefully he's at least bigger than them. I imagine if he's too big(like 100 ft+) the game may have trouble rendering him, so I doubt he's gonna be as big as a mountain. I'll be happy as long as he's like 40-50 feet/15 meters.

Plus this is probably his physical form. Aedra and Deadra also have a spirit form which they use when their physical form is destroyed. So maybe his spirit form will look more "god-like".

Also I saw that this set is gonna cost 149.99. So your basically paying 90 bucks for a statue and a book. That and the game is like 113 whopper jr's.(anyone else see that article?)

I wonder how their gonna package this thing. I guess in a big box like how Infamous 2 was. I hope they package it well, I'm gonna be pissed if I open this box and the wing or tail is broken.

Dont like it. It looks cliche and unoriginal. Dark colour, check. Red eyes, check. Lots of spikes, check.

THIS, this so much.... :cryvaultboy:

Let's see how large and intimidating he actually is, in-game, before I make a judgement. My standard to pass is the Dragon God from Demon's Souls.

I was hoping for an eldritch abomination of massive proportions. You know, something that looks like it could eat the world.

Nbd, though, for a plain ole dragon he looks pretty cool.

Has it been said that Alduin is going to be fightable... i mean if i understandthis correct, akatosh helped martin destroy Mehrunes Dagon. Also i read somewhere that Anduin is akatosh in physical form...so why would the main storyline be to kill him. The only evidenceto show that he is bad is that he ended the first world, if it is even true

No qualms, I'm sure he'll be terrifying in-game. Perhaps he has a human form and you debate philosophy before getting the killing on.
