Now or Later?

Okay so I've waited since the first downloadable content come out for Fallout and to be honest it svcks.
I've explored everywhere, completed the game several times over and practically wiped every enemy from the land. I want to play the DLC but it'll work out cheaper to buy the Game of the Year/Special Edition rather than download them each for £8.

What do you guys think, should I buy them Game of the Year or download them from the PSN?

Honestly, I wouldn't hold your breath for a GOTY, especially since the only awaed it got was "Best Broken Game on Release."

I remember Jason Bergman saying the only way to get all DLC's on a disc is to put them on a disc yourself after you download them.

I'd have to agree with this.
I admire your patience though, there is no way I could have waited this long to play the dlc. :)

No, it also won RPG of the Year at PC Gamer.

You know, they don't have to call it GOTY, they could call it "Fallout: New Vegas: Complete Edition" or something similar.

Jason has stated multiple times that there aren't any plans for a GOTY version of the game, and at this point I can't really see them releasing one.

Whatever they choose to call it, I'm pretty sure there will be a 'complete' edition of New Vegas. To be honest, since you've already waited this long (impressive, I must say), you might as well as wait a little longer for the GOTY.

I don't think there will be a complete edition, as it wasn't announced in the latest "FNV extras", and I'm pretty sure those extras were the last we'll see of FNV.

They said they wouldn't release disk formatted DLC. Download. Besides, if you already have the normal version, why would you spend an extra $20 for a game you already have? $60 for a GoTY (which won't be released), or $40 for DLC.

Don't download the PS3 version of Old World Blues, you won't get to play it anyway because of the horrendous frame rate drop outs/freezing. Dead Money and Honest Hearts ran fine, but OWB is definitely frakked up.

I never had any more issues with OWB than the other dlc or even the main game post patch, as with a lot of the issues its probably only affecting a few people at this point the game runs pretty smoothly as do the dlc, if its seriously bad the download might have messed up try deleting and redownloading that fixes it most of the time.
