A lot of people in this thread fail to understand OP's point. This is exactly how it was on Amazon for US Skyrim PS3. At first it had 5 stars. After a week, when people started getting the lag and crashes, everyone rushed in and change their ratings to 1 or 2 stars. Now it is only 3 stars and dropping fast. I guarantee you this negatively affects sales. A lot of people look at Amazon reviews not only when trying to decide whether to buy it there but in retail stores as well.
Thanks! Your pointing out is correct and it's just what i wanna tell here. Bethesda's funs understand well about what Bethesda had been releasing in TES series and Fallout series etc. And, we know that we must scrutinize Bethesda's games with utmost care and gather enough imformation about their bugs and glitchs to enjoy playing them before we buy them. In Japan, Bethesda's games are called Bethesda quality and it means that pre-research is mandatory.
But, this time Skyrim differs from the other games Bethesda released. Because, one of major game magazine in Japan, Fami-tsu, evaluated Skyrim as full score on Nov. 29 (not Nov. 11), furthermore, today Amazon brims over with 5-srar comments.
I'm afraid that many Japanese gamers will disappoint and refuse many good western games because of just one misleading of limited press and retailer of bias evaluations and reports.
