Am i now a servant of the big blue blob (Triple B)?

Post » Fri Nov 18, 2011 11:15 pm

Okay so i did the quest for Semptimus in the cave then this big blob of blue aka triple B comes and says "Everything you did epicly in the last 53 hours of you playing awesome pc version skyrim was because i was there to guide you, my champion"

then i say "im not your champion monster"

Then triple B is like "Yeh u think that don't you retart!? but hey u can think that way, i'll be inside you mind and you wont even know it hah (presumely he means hes controlling my every move)!"

what the hell? Does that mean (according to the lore) my character is bound by this d******** f**? Im some daedric servant and everything epicly i do is not my own doing but this guy's?

i also got this book "Oghma Infinium" if that means anything.

Ah, that Hermaus Mora just loves to screw with people. He's such a kidder. Makes you really stop and wonder, doesn't it? Though I will say, he IS quite a powerful daedric prince... Arguably the most potent of all the gods, although unlike his brethren, he doesn't do as much to meddle in the affairs of Nirn.

No, not at all. He doesn't say that and he doesn't mean that either. Your character is not bound by Hermaeus Mora, and everything you do is your own actions, your own decisions. He meant that he guided the other character, whose name currently escapes me, into pursuing the large Dwemer lockbox. The Daedric Princes do not and can not control mortals in such ways.

Speaking of that quest, I was hella bummed that it didn't actually contain the Heart of Lorkhan. I was so hyped, only to be let down. Oghma Infinium is cool and all, but come on.

It was much cooler when base attributes existed, and it meant +30 or +50 points to distribute as you desired. Of course, given the normal cap of 100, a modern re-interpretation (if balanced) would've likely allowed a permanent +10 stat buff (allowing you to pass 100) to 2 or 3 separate statistics; as back in Daggerfall you couldn't fortify attributes beyond 100.
