The forced 3rd person finishers... we've now all experienced them in Skyrim. What do you think of them? Do you want them gone and dislike them? Would you rather everything to be 1st person finishers if you are in 1st person?

I personally dislike them a lot, just as predicted. I want them gone from my game and I'm waiting for a PC mod to come out and fix this.

Um, in my game I do get first person finishers. Is this a bug? I have to be in third person to see them in third person.

Some finishers in 1st person are in 1st person, some finishers in 1st person are forced in 3rd person. That's how it works and what this thread is about.

Dislike them. A lot.

If they would be just on Dragons or other "boss" encounters I could handle it. But on every single Wolf/Bandit... Jesus Christ.

I quite like them. I guess it would make more sense if you always got 1st person finishes when it first, and 3rd for when you're in 3rd, but I can't say I'd really noticed! I'm usually just relieved that the fight is over and I'm the one still living!

Thanks, but what comment are you referring to? I want only forced 3rd person finishers gone, but I want 1st person finishers to stay.

I like them. They don't impede combat at all.

EDIT: I especially like how the enemy can also do them to me.

I didn't think I would like them but I do, they make that last swipe of a sword interesting instead of just being...well just a swipe of a sword. Not a fan of finishers done on me by dragons though, they always seem cheap because I have like half my health and they just eat me..

I always play first person because it makes me feel like I am actually them etc.

But I have to say I do enjoy watching the third person finishers, especially the ones on dragons.

I'm really sick of them and can't wait to see them gone.

1st person finishers are fine however. They don't really do anything for me, but at the same time I don't find them annoying or intrusive.

There seem to be a problem here. I get an error if I try to vote 'no' only. It says I have to vote on both questions, but the second one is if I vote 'yes', right?

i like the first person ones better but the 3rd person ones are fine. it be cool if there were more, like if i had a fire spell in one hand and sword in the other part way through the finisher i would shoot flame at the thing

I've stopped playing my melee and stealth guy because of it.

It's another thing that removes me from the game when they happen because I have no control over them. They're beyond annoying to me and frankly wish they were removed from every game.

I hate them.

I hated them 20 mins into the game. They happen way too often with wolfes.

I hate them more so the fact that there was no toggle option.

How hard would a simple toggle option have been?

its like they came off Fallout 3 and said 'hey instead of letting people choose what they want, lets force it on them instead'

I'd hate to see them gone, but to be able to turn them off as an option would of course be more than welcome, since it obviously bothers some players. It only happens every once in a while for me (I play at a low lvl difficulty so maybe that's why), and every time it happens I think it's really cool
