This is my 2nd post about this, but my 1st regarding someone in particular - for this reason I thought it should go into Spoilers forum

By the way, I noticed he was gone after appointing a new sheriff to the town of Primm (I went with Meyers). He just vanished from the NCR outpost adjacent the town. Later on I heard gun shots coming from Goodsprings and found him roaming toward the north - by the looks of it he won't make it far.

Sgt. McGee has been known to do that. It gets him killed.

Yep, he sometimes leaves his post after Primm mission, walking away. Happened to me on first playthrough.

Yeah, sometimes this dead guy with all of his limbs blown off appears in Novac. Then I'll come back later and the body will still be there, but the blown apart limbs will be gone. Then I'll come back and nothing will be there. Then it repeats. It's so many weird things in this game lol.

Sgt Mcgee also respawn as a Ranger for some reason.....

I ran into a named NCR officer (dont remember who) who was knocked out, but on her feet with her eye's closed inside the NCR safe house...

I wonder if she's still there?

Once you find a sherrif for Primm who isn't NCR - McGee and Lt. Hayes are apparently re-assigned and will literally walk from Primm all the way to Camp Forlorn Hope, where they will spend the remainder of the game huddled around a fire. (Lt. Monroe will do the same, from Boulder City - with a lot less travel time)

They appear to freeze in place once the player leaves the area, unlike Oblivion and FO3; where NPCs would continue their progress even after the player had left the cell. My first playthrough - I ran into McGee walking into a large rock near Jean Skydiving....almost 2 weeks after I'd finished the quest. He'd been walking on the spot the whole time. You can escort them to their destination - as they pass some rather dangerous places on the way...Scorpion Gulch, for example.

I found Sarah Hostelter running around near Cottonwood Cove, I think she must've met a sticky end eventually 'cause later I was unable to complete a quest involving her father, he kept yelling at me for murdering his daughter when I'd done no such thing. Even worse, a 10lb quest item was forever stuck in my inventory as a result. :angry:

I think Mcgee is the only one who "freeze" if the player leave the are; the 1st reacon made to Forlon Hope fairly quick.

There was a merchant and his Brahmin that ran in to Novac when Legions chased us there. After the fight, the merchant and his Brahmin remained there for the rest of the game, never moving from the spot they were on.

About half way through my game, the merchant decided to move in to my Novac house! And not too long afterwards his Brahmin decided to move in too!!


Was funny at first... but that Brahmin takes up far to much room and its hard getting around. My solution was pushing him in to the bathroom and closing the door.



Now I have some random Merchant hanging out in my house with a Brahmin in my bathroom...
