If I wanted to find the dialogue files for the companions (or the NPCs in general for that matter), where would I find it, and what would I need to open it? I'm writing an FNV fanfic, and it's tedious to have to load up the game and check every time.

Until you get real help, I'm afraid this is all I can offer -

Try looking up walkthroughs on youtube of quests that you need the dialogue on, that'll save you loading up the game.

Maybe the GECK, though for the dialogue files I'm not 100% certain if the construction set would have them.

You may want to go off site, there are lots of fans out there and many sites.
I do know of one that did work on getting companion sound dialogue logged and recorded, so it may have someone or something that could help you.
It has many modders and long term fans of the game that know other long term fan modders and sites.. etc.
It's advlt only focused on RPG's ( Beth, ME and DA), Sims and games for straight and otherwise, I ask if you have any bigotry to leave it behind as the site still has many friends for me despite recent events.
