NPC died, any way to return them to life?

Heyy guys,

Last time I played FO3, I got ambushed by a... "we hunt rightious people!" squad.
But, before I knew it, they killed Lucky Harith, and I'd rather like those NPC's running around in the wasteland, from point to point.
It was at a marked spot, but without an outpost.

Is there any command to bring him back? I'm playing on the pc btw.

Cheers and thanks in advance!

In theory you can bring them back with console commands, but in practice this usually doesn't work and leads to all sorts of glitchy behavior from them, and other issues as well. If you have a recent save from right before Harith died, your best bet would be to reload that and do what you have to do to keep him alive.

There are numerous PC mods out there that toughen up the caravan traders and make them more likely to survive. Or you can use the console to set them as essential -

Open the console and click on the trader (e.g. Lucky Harith)
Type setessential then hit Enter
Exit the console.

Harith is now unkillable - when he takes enough damage he'll go unconscious and then get back up again a few seconds later.

Well, the death happened some time ago, I'm not fond of going back in time for that ^^

Gonna try to get some toughness mod. I don't like having more essentials than necesarry.

Thanks for the ideas! Gonna try the resurrect command, and if that glitches, I'll reload.

The easiest thing to do is the following:

Open up the console using the tilde key: ~
Click on the NPC you would like to resurrect.
Type 'resurrect', and if this doesn't work then type the following
kill
resurrect
disable
enable
He should be back to the state he was when you left him.
