Do NPC ever respawn? : IV

I got board so i made an evil kind of character and went and wiped out almost every living person in the bloody game about 8 hours later of playing in i check up on the citys and there is like no one left exept for the people the cant die, its getting pretty now every castle bar and store has been wiped out and im wonder will they ever come back :9

Only guards respawn

Unless the actor is marked as 'respawn', dead actors won't respawn. You'll have to live with ghost town.

Respawning NPCs:
- City Guards
- Enemies(Bandits, Marauders, Necromancers....)

As long as they're named they won't.

I'm pretty sure that the only named NPC that respawns is Agna in Leyawiin. I don't think that there are any others, though.

The reactions to it are fun to read. They're usually along the lines of "That's impossible. There aren't that many people in the game." These reactions are mostly by the same people who say things like "Screenshot, or it didn't happen." I find the irony of it amusing. :laugh:

I changes the respawn time to 12 hours instead of 3 days. Every time I finished wiping out all of the cities (and Cloud Ruler Temple), I'd go somewhere remote, wait 12 hours and start again..

Sir Killsalot seems like a nice guy. Looking at his stats, it seems at least he is not a horse thief.

Thats why you should avoid killing rampages in a RPG like Oblivion. You should save then do your crap, then reload a save.

Sir Killsalot kills anything that moves, including horses. He finds it somewhat difficult to steal dead horses, so he doesn't bother with it. :shrug:
