This. If we're going to put people in the game, they would have to add forum moderators, major modders, leaders of major fan sites, ex-developers, and all sorts of really devoted fans. By that point the whole game will be nothing but a giant reference to random people. The fun of easter eggs is that they are unexpected and rare.

I like his videos but this just brings him down and I consider this thread spam, you are not even Gix, imagine if everyone went requesting this and that person to be an Easter egg, we wouldn′t see any other threads besides "Make X an Easter egg"

I love Gix, but making him an easter egg or anything like that in Skyrim seems pointless. Only the people who watch his videos will get it, but for everyone else it would be confusing. So no.

If Bethesda is looking for bang-for-buck, shameless reviewer [censored]-kissing, then they would be including a Yahtzee Croshaw NPC as an easter egg. He'd be a Breton with 500 Speechcraft and talk your ear off about how Skyrim is a steaming pile of overhyped micro-management, like the Sims with swords and loin-cloths, except the inhabitants are even more unintelligible.

lol gix sure is awesome, but hes not THAT FAMOUS my friend, yes he have some really great ideas about elder scrolls, and i guess he praticaly represents most of us with their lets play, since most of us started at oblivion and then went to morrowind, he just show us his toughts about the incredible change about both games, and now hes talking a little about skyrim with is amazing, i love his opinions, i love his lets plays, but i don't think he deserves an entire easter egg, i mean, i doubt bethesda even know about him, PS: he will love to see his name so much times here on the forums, i mean, hes probaly the lets player most talked in here (by what i saw till now.. maybe, who knows..)

I don't really care much for let's play videos but Gix's work on Morrowind is great. Just because he went in all blank the videos have a lot of moments where you're thinking "Oh no, don't do that!" or "Oh my god, it's right there!!". It's a great thing to see someone play that game for the first time and discovering it, a feeling that's impossible to recreate for yourself. So for the people that liked Oblivion and Morrowind - especially the latter - I'd really give his videos a try if I were you.

But besides that, adding a character with his name as easter egg seems a bit over the top. There's so many great people in the Elder Scrolls community that picking him out of so many seems unfair and not really logical. If Bethesda chooses to add someone from the community as an easter egg that would be quite an honor, but if they start fulfilling request the list would go on and on and on. And we'd end up with a province filled with easter eggs.

I think this if a fantastic idea! Gix is an Elder Scrolls legend, and I think he will be surprised and honored that you guys would do that!

I love gix (more for the fact that he plays the game as it was meant to be played, than anything), but that doesn't warrant an easter egg
