NPC's need to talke LESS!

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 7:26 am

What is up with the constant talking of NPC's in this game?!
It's bad enough trying to hear what an npc who is relaying pertinent information regarding a current quest you are on is saying with the guards and random townspeople walking by yakking at you. Now however, I have the Summon Spectal Assassin who although, is helpful in battle, never stops talking. Even in the dailogue cut scenes he keeps talking and talking and TALKING!
I stupidly turn up the volume but of course that only makes him louder. lol. duh.
And the only way I have found to dismiss him, is to kill him myself. Which I happily did and will never summon him again even though he is helpful in battles. Bummer.
I just don't get it. Stupid really and extremely frustrating.

I definitely agree.

It is a very small issue in an amazing game.

But it is getting annoying for every NPC you happen to pass by on the street says something. And usually the same thing over and over. Which is really annoying.

Yes this is infuriating after a while. The wedding made me want to kill myself, standing near any NPC, they constantly said over and over and over "I am so happy for you, etc", like forever looped. How does something like this not get streamlined?

I've had that on occasion too; just turn on subtitles.

That doesn't work either, because if you are standing around in a quest dialogue and some idiot NPC says something nearby, it will change to their dialogue. You have to constantly move around to try to get the one you actually wanted to read back on the screen.

It's a huge issue.
