I have the geck and have been reading tutorials and came across a very helpful one, NPC and Patrol, so i do all it asks me to do and get stuck in the early stages, the patrol it says i need to add a "xmarkerheading" and when i do nothing appears... it shows in my cell view and i thought it was my own fault so i look at videos online and see it shows a red rectangle with an arrow but when i add it nothing appears... i kept on trying but still no luck please could somebody help me thanks alot.

You probably have markers disabled. (you cannot see them) Try hitting M on the keyboard, to toggle them ON. That should fix your problem.
