NPC Slider Database

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 6:08 pm

A couple of months ago, I wrote an article about learning http://j-u-i-c-e.hubpages.com/_esforum/hub/better-looking-characters. As a result of this article, I received numerous requests from XBOX360 and PS3 players for slider settings for various NPCs. Since many of these requests were duplicates, and it seemed inefficient to email screenshots to each player individually, I decided just to post the screenshots on my website as a sort of database. You can use these screenshots to make your own characters look like characters from the game, or just use them to see how Bethesda created their characters. I've also included plugins and save files for PC gamers who want a 'plug-and-play' option. You can find the database here:

http://www.truancyfactory.com/mods/skyrim/skyrim_characters.html

Feel free to post requests if you want sliders for someone who isn't currently on the list (many of the ones that you see were by request).

If you're a PC gamer and you don't know how to already, here's http://j-u-i-c-e.hubpages.com/_esforum/hub/How-to-Change-Your-Characters-Appearance-and-Name-in-Skyrim.

This is so epic. :woot: I loved your character creation guide, and I love this even more.
I now really want to make a character that looks like M'aiq, Brynjolf, Lisette, Karliah, and more.

Interesting stuff... on the PC you could play a doppleganger, assuming the form of someone after you kill them.

I know. I'm pretty much an enabler for people who suffer from restartitis. I'm working on a longer, more detailed character creation guide, too, but it probably won't be done for a while.

I've actually thought about some of the unusual scenarios that could be played out but haven't really gone into any depth with them. RP'ing the whole 'twin' angle, assuming another person's identity, just flat-out being that other person (ie. removing them from the game and redesigning all of their quest-related events around the player), etc. It's also trivial to convert the NPC plugins to companion mods, which opens up other interesting possibilities.

Just a bump for players who might not know about the resource. I've added a lot of new characters and more are being added all the time. If you want to make a request, please be aware that it will take a few days as I'm a little backed-up.

These are great. I might use some of these for my next playthrough, thanks for taking the time to find these.
