My problem is pretty much in the title.

I've heard of this bug before, where an NPC sheaths a spell they have used, and the spell effect continues to play. There is a mod that fixes it, but it looks somewhat questionable in terms of quality. Does anyone have any knowledge of a fix?

Also, on a separate note, if anyone knows how to stop the college of winterhold NPC greetings. please do tell me.
