Gaenor.

I'll have to third this.

I can't think of any NPC I regret meeting besides Gaenor. I was in no position to beat him when I met him, as I'm not the type of player to make super godlike characters, I try to stay more modest as I feel I fit in better with the rest of the NPCs that way. I typically talk to every NPC in sight and I was very upset to then have to tiptoe my way around Mournhold every time I entered that section of it because there was a mini-god waiting to annihilate me.

Genuinely frustrating.

Sorry, but who is Gaenor?

Mine has to be the Dark Brotherhood Mage. I enjoyed paralising him and slowly, and painfuly, killing him.

He would have to be my choice too. That was a very frustrating encounter.

Gae- no, I'm just kidding.

I'd have to say that I really hate meeting Almalexia; when I first did, I was all like "Damn, Nervarine, you're getting some lovin' tonight!" Then things went downhill quickly, and Nervarine didn't get any loving, ever.

There seems to be a steady consensus here with this Gaenor character, but I haven't played Morrowind enough to know much of anything about him. Like Inconceivable, Maglir was one of my ultimate dislikes. I also thoroughly dislike that orc that runs the Fighters Guild in Cheydinhal--he was always really unpleasant. Oh, and I hated that M'raaj Dar, or whatever his name is, from the Dark Brotherhood. Mostly, I hated the characters who were really rude. They just irked me, and I wanted to do things to them that would get my character arrested... :poke:

The real question is, who would win in a fight? Demi-god Gaenor or the Immortal Adoring Fan?

Why did they give Gaenor 770 luck, that to me makes no sense.

My pick would have to be Dulfish Gro-Orum. I hate that Bloody Orc "Oo Look. A fly. Buzz, buzz. Hey. Look everybody! I'm talking to a fly! Buzz, buzz, buzz!".

Maglir gets another vote. Absolute hatred here. You go in that dark cave and do all the work, while I prop up the bar and go on about my family, who I love so much I spend all my time in the pub, instead of with them.

In Morrowind Gaenor, and he is the reason I did not give coins to beggars in Oblivion until mid 2007.
For Oblivion I still hate Glarthir more than the Adoring Fan.

Glarthir. Because you can easily avoid the Annoying fan. But Glarthir is all in your face if you step foot in Skingrad.

Maglir. Little bastard.
Although, if I had played Tribunal, I think Gaenor would take this place.

I never got far enough in MW to play through Tribunal, but I can appreciate the horror over Gaenor. Ugh.

I'll say Glarthir. Psst! Over Heereee....! Argh. He's my go-to murder target if a character is going to head down that path. Sometimes I just off him as a matter of... Public Safety.

As for Alval Uvani... I've come across his putrefying corpse lying on the road a couple of times. no love lost with me. :celebration:

Glarthir, I find all bosmer males utterly creepy. I try to avoid all of them as much as possible but especially Glarthir cause he always manages to out sneak me and ambush me into a conversation at some point and I feel just enough empathy to help the little weirdo out.
